A
Tribute to the life of Diane Kroeker. The Uganda Project is
a way to bring together two villages of people from across
the ocean.
In loving memory of Diane Kroeker, wife, mother,
grandmother, and friend who drowned while reaching out to help
someone in
Guatemala February 29th, 2004. Diane is missed greatly by
family and friends. The Uganda Project is a way to pull together her village
of people by giving them an opportunity to remember her giving
spirit, unconditional love and passionate enthusiasm.
The Uganda Project also pulls together a village
of people in Uganda. In Kalagala, Uganda, a high school has
been built
to provide village children with an equal opportunity for
boys and girls to excel in academic and skill development.
Workers
and volunteers are presently making bricks to help expand
and develop the high school in order to provide future opportunities
to the students and the community of Kalagala. The new building
will house Diane’s school of music a computer resource
center and storage areas for musical instruments and motorbike
supplies. By
giving to
others, as Diane lived her life, we can honour her and allow
her memory to live on.

A PROJECT COMPLETE!
We have come and gone from Kalagala Uganda and
each of us experienced life at the school in our own unique
way but we all came to love the students and teachers. Thanks to everyone for all your donations and support, we could
not
have done it without you!
